Adding a lightning protection system to a building increases protection from physical damage, protects electrical systems and appliances and reduces the possibility of fire. The Bravia Services team installs lightning protection systems for any size or type structure. We are one of Underwriters Laboratories (UL) listed installers and we only use UL listed copper, aluminum and stainless steel materials including bimetallic couplings to protect against corrosion. We offer concealed systems during new construction or semi-concealed systems that blend into the aesthetics of an existing structure. Contact us for a quote.
A Lightning Protection System is comprised of several components: Air Terminals (Lightning Rods), Roof Conductors, Downlead Conductors, Ground Electrodes (Ground Rod, Ground Plate, Etc.) and Surge Suppression. There are rules in the standards for each of these components. The Bravia Services team is certified to design, inspect and install per NFPA 780 and UL96A specifications. Bravia is the only company certified by UL for lighting protection in Ohio or Indiana.

A lightning protection system for commercial buildings should be checked periodically, and immediately after a new roof or any roof repairs, installations of anything on the roof, roof mount A/C units, and other mechanicals that have air terminals and cables attached. We inspect your current system for deficiencies and recommend how best to protect your structure.
